Amy Lee, 25 anos, vocalista do Evanescence se casou em segredo com Josh Hartzler, 28 anos, terapeuta, depois de quatro meses de noivado, segundo informou uma emissora de televisão do Arkansas, a KHTV Little Rock. Amy não emitiu comunicado oficial, mas sites de fãs da banda já parabenizam o casal pela união.

No mesmo fim de semana em que Amy se casou, o guitarrista e o baterista do Evanescence foram demitidos da banda pela vocalista. O guitarrista John LeCompt escreveu em seu blog no dia 5 de maio que não havia lealdade dentro da banda e que Amy era uma “inimiga”: "Mais ou menos às 15h30 de ontem eu recebi um telefonema de Amy em meu celular. A chamada não era de uma amiga que gostava de mim, mas de uma inimiga pronta para atingir a mim e à minha família. Sem aviso ou negociação sobre o meu futuro, eu fui demitido sem motivo. Não concordávamos sobre todas as coisas, mas não é assim com todo mundo?".

A vocalista emitiu um comunicado em que anunciou a saída dos dois integrantes: "O Evanescence está vivo e bem. John e Rocky estiveram no Evanescence por quatro anos e nós passamos bons tempos tocando juntos ao vivo, mas eles estavam prontos para seguir em frente. Assim cada um foi para o seu lado".

A banda Evanescence, de hits como “Bring Me To Life” e “Going Under”, se apresentou no Brasil no dia 21 de abril e reuniu cerca de 25 mil fãs no Parque Antártica. Veja fotos e vídeos do show da banda.

Ingressos custam de R$ 140 a R$ 250 e devem estar à venda na segunda
A banda de rock My Chemical Romance se apresenta em São Paulo no próximo dia 18 de fevereiro. De acordo com a assessoria de imprensa da casa de shows Via Funchal, que sediará o espetáculo, os ingressos devem começar a ser vendidos já nesta segunda-feira (7). Os preços são de R$ 140 (pista), R$ 180 (mezanino) e R$ 250 (camarotes).

Bastante popular com o público adolescente, o My Chemical Romance tocará pela primeira vez para os fãs brasileiros. A banda liderada por Gerard Way rejeita o rótulo emo, apesar de ter sido identificada dessa forma por muito tempo, tanto pelo visual maquiado quanto pelo som.

Em 2006, o grupo de Nova Jérsei lançou "The black parade", o seu álbum de maior repercussão até o momento. Sua discografia ainda tem "I brought you my bullets, you brought me your love" (2002) e "Three cheers for sweet revenge" (2004).
